Hidden Gait Ranch — Services Overview
Hidden Gait Ranch is a full-service equine education, care, and rehabilitation facility with over 40 years of hands-on experience, dedicated to developing sound, confident horses through humane training, advanced hoof care, and whole-horse management. We are a 100% all-barefoot facility and have been instrumental in advancing and supporting all-barefoot horse show classes, promoting soundness, longevity, and fair evaluation of the horse as designed.
Our services include riding lessons, boarding, training, and leasing, along with professional hauling, saddle fitting, and tack consultation. We work with horses at every stage of life—from gentling young horses (never breaking) to retirement care and end-of-life support, ensuring dignity, comfort, and informed decision-making throughout each phase.
A core focus of Hidden Gait Ranch is hoof care and rehabilitation, including advanced lameness evaluation (video or on-site), corrective strategies, and education through the Keystone Hoofbridge approach. We provide in-depth classes and clinics on hoof pathologies, rehabilitation solutions, and specialized diet protocols, integrating nutrition, biomechanics, and environment to support long-term soundness.
We actively participate in and support the equine community through horse shows, horse show judging, educational events, and public outreach. Our team assists with horse facility layout and design, buying and selling horses, and teaches practical equine husbandry to promote safe, informed, and ethical horse ownership.
Hidden Gait Ranch also donates time and horses to support county fairs, parades, and community demonstrations, helping educate the public and advocate for responsible, horse-first practices.
Our mission is simple:
to serve the horse first—through knowledge, patience, and respect—while empowering people with the understanding to do the same.
